Drove by our local bonfire this evening, it’s only about 45 feet high which is a poor reflection on the local work ethic. What I was amused by was the 2 professionally done banners “When injustice becomes law resistance becomes duty” and “End two tier policing”. Especially as 50 yards up the road I saw the wife of a local PSNI officer and his 2 sons making their way down to the festivities.
Less than vermin.
The peeler was entirely correct mate.
Were there many pallets about in 1690.
Or Celtic supporters?
Council’s problem now
Are those the GGA clubs that still ban “foreign” (British) field sports with several named after Provisional IRA and INLA members?
Am sure other swamp dwellers in the area will add it to their pyres.
Name one ground called after an INLA volunteer?
Kevin Lynch’s?
The GAA didn’t do much over the years up North to dispel the notion that they were anything other than the IRA at play.
Whataboutery
Played there many’s the time
Named after a great Dungiven man
Was there’ when they brought his battered body home
I was a GAA member up there at the time
Yes there we’re republican members but that’s as far as it went
GAA generally were officially A political and considering they lost lots of member to loyalist scum they kept to that mantra
Look over there…
In fairness I think some of the worst sectarianism from the Loyalist side on the 12th of July stems from societal problems of social deprivation, poverty and unemployment. Unionist politicians are happy to maintain this status quo to serve their own ends.
Stop spamming the thread. What has this to do with the 12th of July?
