The Grand National 2015 - The People's Race

I suspect as he was a Republican, they would have approved.
The Boat Race.
The United States Masters golf championship.
The University Challenge final.

Those three (four if you count Round 4 of the golf as separate) are the only television programmes I’ll watch between 17:30 on Saturday and 20:30 on Monday. All on BBC. Possibly the Football League Show and a quick flick over to Match of the Day between shots in the golf. Both also on BBC.
Tonight another important varsity match takes place when Cambridge’s Gonville and Caius take on Magdalen Oxford in Mr Paxmans Manchester studio.

G&C have been unbeatable all year and they even beat Magdalen earlier this season, I just have a sneaking suspicion based on the semi-final performances that Magdalen may yet sneak a surprise win. There’s a guy from Ballymena on the Cambridge team who is quite good. An American guy called Quinn for Magdalen is excellent.

A couple of lovely pictures from the Aintree Festival. Great to see people enjoying themselves:
Did you drop a yoke like at Ascot?
that was the Epsom derby 2014 mate, and to be honest, looking back, I can’t believe I did that, I am very embarrassed to have gone on like that, thank god I met no one that knew me. I was in a different place last year, now my life has changed in ways I never though possible

I love the twist this thread took.

Al Co is back in action today in the Scottish National. He should have plenty left him after unseating his rider at the first last week. I’m chasing my losses anyway
