The Greatest Bands/Artists of All Time

For me this is for the above mentioned who amassed a body of work over whatever length of time which is just mind-blowing.

Dylan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Sufjan Stevens, The Beach Boys, Thin Lizzy, Wilco, The Flaming Lips, Pink Floyd, spring to mind.

These are acts which produced at least 4 or 5 classic albums. Stone cold classics. I’m sure some eejit will cite Springsteen and his trite boogie woogie sounds but there ain’t no accounting for taste.

Bowie

Absolutely.
If you have Sky Arts record his Serious Moonlight live show from 1980 tonight. It’s unreal.

Peter Gabriel.

Mark knopfler come to that.
Rolling Stones?
