It’s more heartbreak than a break up. I go into a self-destructive phase when a woman breaks my heart so this is my solace.
Am I right to assume that a third party in the bar looking at the three of you drinking will see one man on a barstool.

You’re a big fan of the wonder years. I don’t recall it bar seeing it the odd time when I was quite young. What was the upshot of it all? Was there regret? Did he miss out on the big one or was he better off with the wife?
that being a child and being young is not a holding pen until you are an adult but a time of hopes and dreams, wins and losses, sibling rivalry, romance, heartbreak, sickness, death but always a time of wonder.
