In other news I’m currently watching the golf on Sky. These manufactured chirping bird sounds are incredibly annoying. Was a lad there a minute ago, about to putt, 100yds from shrubbery when the bird music came blasting out. These Yanks must think we’re a gullible lot.

McIlroy two back from the leader David Lipsky in Ohio. There’s a chance of a Holywood GC double tomorrow between the two tours with Tom McKibbin in a share of the lead at the Porsche Open, which I doubt has ever been done

He has just been well and truly shafted by the PGA Tour. I have to agree with his stance on the Saudis and their money but he’s been left in a tricky spot now with the merger. Maybe they will all put it behind them and move on, who knows.
When you dig into it he wasn’t really shafted. The pga tour were running out of money . The PIF had unlimited funds.
