The incredible pieces of skill thread

Definitely puma kings, boot of choice for at least ten years in the mid 90s onwards. I can picture the ref but can’t remember his name. Scruffy fat black haired fella from wexford direction. I’m nearly sure it was in Rathangan in a league game. A long time ago now.

Isaac Furlong maybe? Jam jar glasses?

no, I think it was a James or John. Bugging me now. I remember another game we played down in Piercestown in hurling and he gave one of our lads a very very harsh red card. After the game with a bit of persuasion he changed his report to put it down as two yellows and apologised for sending him off.

@backinatracksuit and @Gman duelling it out

We’ll both be hitting in swingers with the right peg off the ground. That outside of the boot from the hands is for shapers with white boots. Me and trackie are old school

This is super stuff. Almost like the opening video on the thread

Biggest thing from that was on 9 seconds, there isn’t a player today who stays on his feet.

And they say the art of kicking frees off the ground is dying out

His technique is the spit of Luke Connolly’s.

Like richie hogan’s goal v galway

Why is no one mentioning Pa Horgans flick into Kingstons hand at the weekend for the goal?

It was so good people probably don’t realise he meant it.
