I’m not embarrassed at all. I watch the games I want to watch and that’s what I did. How do you know who the best players are when you only watch it from time to time?

I watched a lot of it when Newcastle were in it a few years ago and the bits I’ve seen since are exactly the same, bar Biesla’s Leeds.

I just realised John McGinn came from the SPL so that explains why you rate him so highly

Not just me, he generally would seem to be rated by many as one of the best players in the league. I’d say he’s a cert for team of the season.

Why would he want to get in the team of the season? There’s plenty of times some of the best players in the world failed to make teams of the season in their respective leagues.

Given this is his first season in the league, if he isn’t making team of the season I would say its pretty likely he isn’t in the top 2 players in the league

If he’s in the top 2 players in the league and this is the only season you can base that on he should be getting in team of the season

McGinn can’t even get into the Aston villa starting XI. I’d say his chances of getting into the team of the season are rather remote.
