The Joe Brolly tells porkies thread

He accused Kevin Lynch of it.

Conlon should have got his facts right if he was going to make shit jokes about them.

Are you entitled to claim additional milage rate because of the weight of the machines in the back of the Burlingo?

I didnā€™t realise heā€™d accused Joe of murder tbh. If he did then fair enough to get thick over it

You canā€™t libel the dead

Lynch is dead. Cannot defame a dead man. Anyway i though he said Lynch was in INLA and INLA were responsible for some bad stuff rather than Lynch directly.

Both pieces were a bit shit anyway. No wonder newspapers are on their knees.

Iā€™m not quite sure thatā€™s true.

@artfoley

No he said Lynch decided to do a bit of killing for Ireland. Lynch was never charged with killing anyone, a poorly constructed joke from a below average intelligence journalist.

He hasnā€™t graduated to actually installing the machines yet. He just fills them.

You canā€™t libel anyone since 2009.

Oooft.

Keep on digging.

Says the potential issuer of a solicitorā€™s letter not so long ago. Fuck off for yourself.

One was an insinuation against an anonymous username on the internet.

The other was an accusation against a named person on national print media.

I believe that to be correct.

Exactly, Laois, Offaly, Longford and Leitrim for starters.

Who had a right of reply through his column but chose instead to go the legal route and that was his right as a man and as a Gael.

How the fuck could you leave out Carlow.

One had legal standing and the other didnā€™t.
