The Joe McDonagh Cup incorporating Christy Ring, Nicky Rackard and whoever else

This Dan Shanahan Willie Maher duo may not be the geniuses we were lead to believe.

Couldn’t get to it. That fucker Joe Troy on Midlands 103 is some dose.

Still better than big Pat

Carlow hurlers never feared Kildare. Kildare are only gym monkey hurlers.

Good to see Mouse Kavanagh back in the fold.

Great to see a stonecold Carlow legend becoming the official photographer to Carlow GAA. One of the good guys is Fishy.

Chastening defeat for Kildare today.

Kildare seem to be going flat out since Jan. Won the Kehoe cup and had a great league. However panel depth would be shallow like all Joe Mc teams there and I’m imagining they are running on empty.

Contrast that with Carlow who showed disdain for Kehoe cup and league and were only really peaking for today.

They’ll need more than Naas to get to the next level. But they have come a long way in a short space of time to be fair

That’s a fair scutching. When Carlow have Mouse, James Doyle and Chris Nolan hurling well they’re a strong Joe McDonagh Cup team and higher than the No.18 ranking the OTB boys had given them not so long ago.

Maynooth are slowly coming. Celbridge are in decline though. They were robbed of a Leinster a few years back vs Carrickshock.

There was an article in the examiner last week about how more clubs in the county are becoming represented in squads rather than the usual 5/6.

Where does @Locke have Carlow currently in his Power Rankings?

Maynooth are putting in incredible work, huge numbers

Knocking on the door. Very disappointed to see Laois losing today.

Duignan has Offaly purring

Kildare are playing Offaly in this in Hawkfield :grinning:

They had to go somewhere, Conleths has finally fallen down around their ears

Surely there’s another option?

That one in Kildare Town that you pass on the Cork-Dublin train line?

Mate, if Conleth was the ‘best’ they had, do you really think there was any alternative?

Its a dangerous precedent to be playing these games on soulless training pitches.

Should have coughed up home advantage.

Shoulda been made to. There was no venue fixed up til yesterday. Shambolic.

Kildare are playing all their home games next year in OMP. That’ll sting
