Cant see Laois fucking it up. Were very close to Offaly last year and Offaly are at a good level. Horrible scenario for them next year being in Div 2 and in Liam Mc.
We did it before under Chedd
After 2 rounds its shaping up to be one of the least competitive Joe McDonaghs since its inception. Laois and Carlow are putting up cricket scores so far, and while there’s still 3 rounds to go, its hard to see it change much.
Westmeath, Kerry and Kildare all gone off the boil and Down have a way to go yet after the two scutchings they’ve gotten the past 2 days out. Willie Maher has his work cut out in that new role.
It looks like heading to a dead rubber between Laois and Carlow in the last round, and a Laois Carlow decider. Just a case of getting to that with a full hand now (insert Laois sending off reference here).
