Laois were never getting anything out of this today from the hurling gods after the manner in which they blackguarded their way into the final in drawing with Carlow. With any bit of luck Laois will continue to have Joe Sheridan 2010 levels of bad karma that the Meath footballers have enjoyed for the last 15 years.
