There might be a case for uniting to remove temporary british influence in the 6 counties, or permanent british influence in the pale, but let that be the end of it. West of ireland people have more of a shared heritage with people in cornwall or Brittany than with anto moorehouse from some sink estate on the northside. Id be fully on for connacht seceeding to independence and a breaking up of this ‘country’ which cleary isnt a going concern.

As for Quinn, who else have the state gone after with such intensity. Neery was telling everyone the banks were the most capitalised in Europe when he was buying the contracts for difference. Normal folk were buying 2 and 3 properties here and there and young people were signing on for 40 year mortgages. Quinn is the banks scapegoat.

Interesting how sinn fein are so supportive of seanie quinn as one of the superrich who bankrupted our country. It’s a great coincidence that people/companies who took over parts of his empire have experienced nationwide intimidation and threats.
