Scrambled a 5k the other day in about 28mins…
Went on a morning run to mark the lock down. Getting there, about 27.30 for my 5k, but starts downhill with a reasonable mid section thru trails and back finishing uphill. It was the mid section that was my worst split, but good to get back at it and not be completely dead.
Fuck NPHET.
You’ll usually be a bit slower on trails unless you’re going downhill.
I think it was more that I knew the uphill back home was coming so took it handy. Nice downhill to get there and then pottered around but went hard uphill. It’s a target time at least to keep trucking on and bettering it.
