Itās only now I feel fully recovered that I can say to peopleā¦ācherish the things you enjoy like Coca-Cola, Pizza, taking a good dump because itās hell, sheer hell when theyāre taken away from youā.

Normally only afflicts me when I am hungover but seems to happening more and more often and sometimes not drink related at all.
Have an awful dose of indigestion this morning - the stomach is boiled off me and I have no Rennies on me

No, like I say would normally get it after a hard night on the beer. Only had a sandwich for dinner last night as I had a match and had a cup of tea and a few custard creams when I got home. This may well be the source of it.

I made absolute shit of my stomach by drinking cheap Cider in college. I couldnāt touch the stuff for 3 years afterwards without getting chronic heartburn.
Iām pretty much clear of it now. I had to avoid all the triggers for a few years but Iām okay now.
Acidic foods are to be avoided obviously. Red Bull is to be avoided like the plague. Orange Juice etc,
Other strange stuff triggered it for me aswell like White Pudding & Stuffing. Must have been something to do with whatever herbs were in it.
Yoghurt is very good for helping the recovery.
Julios top tip: When caught mid session without any Rennie a bottle of Soda Water can be just as effective.
Ham, cheese and a bit of mayo. Had a bowl of weetabix and an innocent smoothie for breakfast, but had the indigestion when i woke

The smoothie did in fact help. Maybe it was due to my stomach being somewhat empty, had the smoothie about an hour ago and it has somewhat dissipated since

I get horrible acid reflux. I end up puking a fair bit because of it. Havenāt been able to get rid of it through any tablets or anything.
How can yogurt help and a smoothie not?
