Guys, any tips on how to mitigate sciatica? I’m an infrequent sufferer but find the couple of hours I get it every month or two to be most debilitating.

Try one of these and use it on your butt checks-you could have problems with the muscles in your ass causing the sciatica to flare up when these muscles tighten.

So would I. I have started doing it and it is just fantastic for my lower back and leg muscles. The fanny in the class is absolutely top drawer too which is great for my love muscle.

Really? I would have suspected it would be full of whales trying to part with their jelly bellies. I might just do this in the coming weeks - join a yoga class that is.

Do hot yoga mate, its entertaining on all fronts.

It’s called Bikram Yoga gents and the talent at it is incredible. I’m in a loving relationship so wouldn’t be straying but it’s always good to have a look. Look up your nearest one Bomber you won’t regret it. I must warn you though you will sweat like you’ve never sweated before.

Lucky you mate but you will sweat like a priest in a playground at this. I wouldn’t consider myself particularly sweaty either but this is just incredible.

Took a fairly heavy blow to the jaw playing a match on Saturday and it is still quite sore. No real pain when I touch it and no bruising or swelling but when I close my mouth or try and eat anything it hurts like a mother fucker, especially sore after I wake in the mornings after a nights sleep. Presumed I jarred it. Anyone else ever have anything similar

Sounds like a hairline fracture, you definitely need an xray. Its hurting most likely because you are lying on that side over night or because you are grinding your teeth, both would lead to the pains. Xray, asap.

Could well be a fracture of the Jaw bone lad. The pain when eating would point to what MBB is saying.

Abrasive is the term I like to use. In fairness of the incident it was two of us running full steam into a ball from opposite directions. I planted myself and yourman came off far worse and ended up getting buried but he caught me across the jaw on collision. Felt it at the time but as there was been no swelling or bruising i haven’t thought much of it, still as sore today as it was Saturday

It could just be slightly out of place. Have you tried moving your jaw about from side to side etc
