An MRI is free in most Health Insurance Plans once you have a referral from a GP. I had one done last week on an ankle and was in and out in 30 minutes. Do it.

Once you know what the problem is you can then go and rectify it.

Acupuncture can help ease the symptoms in the meantime.

Even dry needling is very effective, but i would hold off on same until you receive the correct diagnosis.

I did some damage to my ankle about 20 years ago and my folks brought me to Dan O’ Neill. He said I had two bones out of place and performed some manoeuvre to fix it. He also gave me some sort of potion to put on my ankle at night which burned like hell. I haven’t had a problem with it since. Saying that I would still be very skeptical about going to him with a back problem at this stage in my life.

@Kinvara’s Passion is bang on here. Your first step should be an MRI scan, you can decide the next course of action after you find out what’s actually wrong

The other bonus was that they had the Metallica Justice For All playing on the headphones whilst the machine was roaring away in the background.

When One came on, I truly felt I was lying in the tropical forests of Nam back in the day.

So on one side we have 3 confirmed cases of people who went to Dan O’Neill and were cured on the spot for a nominal charge, with no side effects.
And on the other side we have countless stories of lads being charged through the nose by physios and doctors who did nothing only look at them and give them a bit of rub, without coming close to a cure.

Seems an easy choice.

His problem could be ligaments/muscualr, there’s nothing a witch doctor can do for that- Best find out what’s wrong first, no?

So you’re admitting that the horse lad is good for bone injuries so, mate?

Did I say that? But what’s the point being horse whipped over a barrel for bone problems when it’s your ligaments that are the problem?

We’ll let Dan be the judge of that you gobshite.

So you admit he is worthy of being called a doctor then?

You implied it. You’re all over the shop, pal-have you a bit of flooding in the head?

I think you’re making an inference, rather than anyone making an implication.

In the same way Art is a legal expert, yes.

He must have lubed you up real good before he went in

You might not be a million miles from the truth there, sport.

Nah, i wouldnt know the first thing about ligaments

Either would Mr Nail.

Given that Mr. o@neill advertises as a bone setter im not sure he is the man for @farmerinthecity

  • in contentious business a bone setter cannot calculate his fee or any part thrreof…

I’d say you’d know as much about ligaments as you do about litigants
