Hope you find this reply detailed and informative, @chewy louie.[/QUOTE]

If only there was a detailed rating to go with the informative one

Went for my annual medical, the first in four years. My cholestorol level is 279, a normal level is 200. So, what do I do to get it down?

Flora proactive as part of a healthy lifestyle

That’s a tough one… Have you tried shoving your thumb up your arse?

Would cheese and olives help?

Yes… in abundance.

Why would you want to bring it down, pal? The key to cholestorol is to get it up, not down. You are above average, and by a good bit too, so sit down and have a rasher sandwich and give yourself a greasy pat on the back.

Quite right. No point rushing into anything.

Depends, soft cheese like a brie would be a good lubricant but a block of cheddar would probably hurt. The olives might make you feel arty.

I was warming up on the bike this evening and I started getting a sharp pain in my knee, felt like it was behind the kneecap. A small dark purple blemish came up on my knee so I stopped on the bike. I went through my circuits and it was fine but that’s the second time in a week this has happened. Any ideas? Ebola?

Popped blood vessel most likely.

Sore, but not too serious. Get your GP to look at it anyway.

The blemish has gone now though and the same thing happened last week.

And I would prefer to get it diagnosed and fixed here for free rather than waste my time going to a GP thanks, Elvis.

No problem pal. The senior registrars of TFK will shortly make varying expert analyses diagnosing you with everything from a runny nose to Weil’s Disease.

Recommendations for recovery will include running it under a cold tap, drinking fennel tea, a Nutri-Bullet and a fixie. They’ll also say it happened because you’re weak but don’t let that bother you.

Edit - Or TB.

Have you been tested for ferritin?

Is that an STD?

Ya, from riding ferrets

Yep, you want to be sure in the dark to get the right end if you are doing that*

*i’ve been told
