The Let Kev at your Back thread

10 pull ups
10 squats (40kg)
10 push ups

5 rounds 1 minute in-between. First physical activity of any sort in 2 months and still a little dizzy. Ave it, ya cunt.

do you feel as if you have ā€œbrain fogā€?
this is a serious q BTW

Iā€™m good now, pal. Nurofen sinus sorted me out.

@Bandage I know itā€™s hard to believe given your current fantastic mental and physical shape but itā€™s not long ago that you were pre-op. I remember you had some sort of pre-op advice/routine. I shall be going faoin scian next week*. Please advise accordingly.

*On a fucking Friday!!!

@Juhniallio - I meant to reply to the thread in general and not your post in particular but while Iā€™m here good luck with the surgery anyway.

Started working out a bit more over the last month. Doing less cardio and more weights which is new for me. Since I started I canā€™t go through the night without getting up to relieve myself. I have tried taking only minimal liquids on board after 6pm and I donā€™t drink tea or coffee after 3pm but it doesnā€™t help. I havenā€™t had a clear night in about three or four weeks. Itā€™s really pissing me off at this stage.

I read online that this may be due to my muscles retaining more water and only releasing it when Iā€™m lying down. Anyone ever experience this? Or should I go to the doctor and get my prostate checked again? Only been a year since my last check though.

best of luck with the triple bypass @Juhniallio

Ta mickey. Iā€™d say more but I get wheezy if I type too much.

What operation are you having, pal?

Mental and physical strength is key.

That goes without saying.

Dr croppy has long since diagnosed my knee problem as being all in the head so Iā€™m letting them open up my cloigeann and have a poke around*.

*while fixing my broken nose from playing football about 6 years ago.

is that a sinus type surgery pal?

No. Locating the lower half of my nose and resetting it.

ah grand, thatā€™ll be fine,
will it be a 2 night stay post surgery?

One hopefully. Not sure though. They were very light on details. Organisation seems shocking. * I may yet wake up having had a leg amputated.

*if all goes well Iā€™ll be singing the praises of an efficient system.

Whatā€™s your cloigeann?

yeah, are u going private or is it thru public?
my experience private with VHI has been really quite good actually , only prob i had last time was asked to some in at 8 and didnt go down for surgery till half 4, they had no problem tho with me staying as long as i needed afterwards, i suppose VHI got screwed
If you have insurance health here really isnt so bad, apart from the whole paying a small fortune for meds, that 144 euro a month thing is a joke, waiting times for surgery going private really arent so bad

Your head

Not sure. Itā€™s all on my vhi. I think.

believe me pal, ud fucking know all about it if you were public

Yeah but theyā€™ve never once asked for my vhi yet. Iā€™ve said it to them but they just say ā€˜a sure bring it along,ā€™.
