The Let Kev at your Back thread

Iā€™m on a 3 month burst of these bad boys to clear up a long term problem not dissimilar to what youā€™ve described. Need a prescription though I think

Hows yere posture? I had a lot of sinus pain last summer, a physio told me my my head was tilted slightly forward which might have caused it. I adjusted, massaged a few sinus pressure points as per youtube, and hey presto, pain disappeared.

Just tell them you were in Amsterdam for the weekend a few weeks ago and legally smoked a joint.
They canā€™t stop you getting a job, which I presume has been offered to you pending a medical, for something you did legally.

But they could come back with some generic ā€œmanagement reserves the right to refuse admissionā€ type response ?

Thatā€™s easily solved. @feck_it youā€™re a traveller now boss. SCRIMINATION

They wonā€™t. Tell them you passive smoked if it comes up. Iā€™d be amazed if it does.

Going to get the eyes lasered. Anyone have it done and how did it pan out and any recommendations?

Donā€™t go for the cheapest option

Game changer.

One of the best things I had done.

Use somebody who lives here.

Laser vision and John Fenton on Adelaide road

Two ways to get it done. Cut a flap or not. Not cutting a flap is less risky and I had it done that way but it is three days of pretty awful pain. Cut a flap is more or less pain free.

Was looking at Fenton alright. Did you get wavefront as well and how much?

Jesus, even Mac would be embarrassed by that pitiful effort. Up your game pal

Got that wavefront.

Forget cost. Think maybe 3k or so.

Mr Cummings in the Beacon. Best there is. Brought it to Ireland. Covered for life as well, so any tweaks or problems youā€™re sorted no questions

Best thing Iā€™ve ever done. A modern day miracle almost

Itā€™s well worth it but you will still need reading glasses quite early if you go for 20/20 vision.

Cummings in The Wellington Eye Clinc done mine. He is still there, its based in the Beacon now, it was on Wellington Road when I got mine done. Itā€™s well worth it. I paid in punts and eyes still fine although not 20/20 anymore.

I got LASIK, itā€™s where they cut and lift a flap and then laser. Mine have deteriorated slightly but it means I wonā€™t need reading glasses as soon as if they were still 20/20.

If you have to read a lot in work and you donā€™t want to be searching for reading glasses all the time then they will have options where you can get one slightly less than 20/20. I know a few QSā€™s and Architects that went for different levels of correctness to avoid needing reading glasses.
