She joined Tramore Sea and Cliff Rescue at the age of 16, and by the age of 18 was a helmsman with the Tramore RNLI.[3]

I once owned a petrol powered lawnmower and knew nothing about composting. Point is we all have skeletons in our closet but we could sit around examine each others failings or roll up our sleeves and tackle global warming

The tramore rnli were famously republican in character and as a result were ejected from the main rnli after the hunger strikes when they hung photos of Kevin Lynch the hunger strikes candidate for Waterford off their boat in 1981.
