You’d need your head examined to drink beer from a can.
What do you mean? I haven’t any
I thought you’d say that alright you tight Cork cunt.
@backinatracksuit was probably in Ardkeen Stores, saw it for €4.50 a can and thought to himself “I wonder did they ever sell a can of it”
They’ve all moved over to cans now, perfect for beer really.
This isn’t the pints thread
Horrible metallic taste off them. Beer is fine from a bottle, a can? No way.
Pour the can in a glass?
There are tiny holes in metal cans and oxygen gets in. Oxidation they call it. Ruins the beer.
The taste follows.
Small cans only big cans the beer is shite by the end. You can only get most of the craft stuff in cans now though.
Stevie from Treaty city(sorry for mentioning him twice on one night) has moved over to canning, reckons it’s as good as a glass bottle, and I agree with that
But maybe I like the taste of metal? Who knows
It’s moving towards a situation where you’ll get no Irish beer in a glass bottle, it’s already 90% that way
It shatters the molecular structure of the beer.
The 440ml is some scam. Stealing 60mls off us
It wouldn’t be allowed in Germany.
They have rules.
Quality, not quantity.
I’ve had 4 of those double Dans and I’m half streamed.
Anyway guys, if you’re looking for a daycent ale get the blue Trouble Brewing - Ambush juicy pale ale.
The Harp pint bottle is a noble purchase. You get the full 568ml.
I do think the taste of cans has improved. I think the ease for home recycling has made it an attractive purchase.
When I lived on SCR, I’d sometimes take a bottle with me strolling into town or Dolans for a gig. A 440ml can would probably have hit the right spot and would have been an easier one to dispose of
I’ve a few of those butty Red Stripe 330ml beers in the fridge.
You’ll have to ship some down to me bud.
I’ve 24 bottles here for a lad from Woodview They’re here a few months now but I’ll hopefully be seeing him over Xmas.
