The Mac and Treatystones Beer Thread

Agreed it’s not great.
I’ve ordered a keg and kegonator/tap from Dermo Connolly’s crew for NYE for the father in laws birthday. Got it for €300 for 88 pints. Supposed to be the bees knees.

I’ll prob be in isolation as they swamp away

Apparently you need to keep the cans in fridge for a few days beforehand

That Rock shandy ipa is rank

I’ll be trying it out later. Have got good reports off a few that had it’s

To each their own I suppose. I thought it was rotten. Did you get the tyre sorted

I did. I actually bought two new ones this morning.

I was going to be getting a few next week when I was in for the car service (there’s an auld diddle where the VAT rate is lower there than from a tyre garage) but said I might as well do it today. Mid West Tyres in Raheen were open until 12pm. Only place I could find open. It was a grand excuse to get out of the in-laws for the morning and I’d a grand walk while I was waiting around.

Smoked beer is about as disgusting a drink as I’ve ever consumed

This is nice, but like all the craft porters, one is generally enough

This is a lager, a but a lot heavier and darker than a regular layer. A bit too strong tasting for me.

Jaysus I enjoyed that
Wasn’t too sure but a few sips in, I was on board.

I had a chocolate flavoured stout recently… :face_vomiting::face_vomiting::face_vomiting:

One of the best pale ales I’ve had. In perhaps the coolest can.

I think it’s the best of their brews.

I had a Solas Belgian white there that I bought in Tesco. It was quite nice.
