The one in cork was a franchise

What did the owners do that fucked them up?

Regarding Brewdog Cork, there were a a few reasons that all combined to its failure.

For some reason its location, while just off Washington St, has been a graveyard for multiple pubs over the last 20 years.

There are 6 or 7 well established craft beer pubs in Cork already.

The whole toxic / “woke” bullshit around Brewdog was off-putting.

Most importantly, it was only a franchise operated by a local crowd.

Forgot one last one: Brewdog beers are nothing special, except for the Punk IPA, which you could get for €2 cheaper down in the Linen Weaver.

I was in there once for a work night out and ended up asking what was the closest pint they had to Coors

Good bang off this @Thomas_Brady

This stuff from Oranmore has been around a good while, but first time trying tonight. As good an IPA as I’ve drank.

Spectacular

Half twelve of a friday? Even @spidey would be jealous.

He’s been abandoned by the wimmen who have opted for an afternoon of retail therapy.
The impending shock of damage to the credit card has driven him to the drink.

Meanwhile he’s frantically scouring RIP.ie for any deaths that may be beneficial…….
