The Mac and Treatystones Beer Thread

Paulner is my drink of choice, mate… It’s a main stream beer but far better quality than most around. Don’t be mixing European beers up with craft beer, only a roaster would make that mistake.

Why would anyone want maldunctioning balls like Tassoti? Sure he couldn’t even fire one off at the end of it.

with a big beetroot head on him

anyone who thinks Heneikin or Carling is bad beer hasn’t a fucking clue what they are taking about, if you drank 5 or 6 pints of that real ale shite all those wankers like mac go on about you’d be poisoneda and god only knows what state the jacks would be in the morning after

Is the state of the jacks the morning after usually the main thing on your mind when you go for a feed of pints?

I must have drank 100 pints of Carlsberg on Friday night. All free too so tastes all the better.

You mug

Heneiken, bud, carling, carlsburg, all the same pish ill never drink again anyway.

As you get older drinking less but drinking better is the key to a productive relationship with yourself.

drinking better doesn’t have to mean craft beers - it can mean where you drink and who you choose to drink with too

Do you always have to go deep with this stuff?

FFS

Went to the new brewery on the coal quay over the weekend. Well impressed, they do a great IPA. Do pizza and other food till late close too, a great spot.
As an aside, Cork seems to be flying, there are so many more options for eating and drinking now.

You could give chaps like @TreatyStones and @glasagusban a pint of Heineken but tell them it’s a new craft beer brewed in Limerick called Shannon Storm and they’d be raving about how great it is. Absolute mugs. They’d be going up to the bar to order another pint of Shannon Storm and everything.

Beer number 2…

Hoppy.

Absolute mugs.

Ian O’Doherty?

Malty??

As long as you describe it as “dry-hopped” we’d definitely fall for it. I still don’t get notifications when you tag me in posts mate. Could you look into that? Maybe it’s because you tag me so often or something. Maybe ask @Mac if there is a critical mass for tagging someone in posts or something.
