The Man Utd Thread
The thing that guiled me in particular about Ferguson was how he complained to FIFA. As I said before many clubs (including Liverpool) do it but when it happened to them in the case of Gerrard they didn’t go crying to FIFA. He can’t bear it that there is a player that wants to leave the club for a bigger one and that his exit is not on his terms…

An utter wankstain…
I think you miss the point Farmer. Galling you is not Ferguson’s aim(although it is a beautiful byproduct). He complained to FIFa to send a very public fuck you to Real. Whether they were publicly sanctioned doesn’t matter to him. It’s the same when he demands strong refs/new rules/less internationals/respect for refs etc. depending on whether it suits at the time. Every single thing Ferguson does is for the benefit of Man U. That is all that matters to him. In that sense he is no hypocrite. He just deals with things as they come.
Your hatred of him is because he is the best football manager in history. And he manages the team that you hate. FACT.

What about him throwing his toys out of the pram and not talking to the BBC after the Panorama exposed his agent son as a crook? Was that for the good of United?

Jaysus it seems weird me saying this but get your head out of the clouds - the man is a bully and a hypocrite and a general wankstain…

PS. Bob Paisley won three European Cups in 5 years…

He doesn’t talk to the BBC… who cares? You. Only because you’re bitter about his success and the fact that Man U have been shithot for over 15 years now. You really, really hate him. We get it. Move on. Be the bigger man.

And you don’t want to start the who’s a better manager fight, do you?

I don’t hate him purely because United have dominated England for the last 15 years. I hate him because he is a hypocrite and a deeply obnoxious human being…

Also 3>2…

Im sick of reading Farmers hatred for Ferguson. Get over it.

Anyway United were poor enough last night. Eagles again was poor. Ferguson should get rid of him. Campbell looked alright and hope he stays at United this season and given more of a chance in the first team. With the 7 sub rule in the league next season he will have a better chance of playing more often in the first team.

Martin took his goal well but from what I saw, he got a fair kicking from that full back.

Sure you do big man. As the defender of truth, morality and compassion that you are.

Here’s a little psychoanalysis for free.
You’re tall. Probably stuck out from an early age. You felt aloof, alienated. You carried the shame of original sin(Leitrim birth). Supporting Liverpool was the only thing that made you feel part of something. Something special. You loved your Liverpool and all it gave you. As the years passed your love for Liverpool began to hurt. Souness came, enshitted them. It was ferguson the conquerer of your team whose face beamed at you in your lowest moments. The greater his smile, the greater your pain. Your hurt became hate. The furious fires of rage within were stoked continuosly by his triumphs. The years rolled. Just as surely as the mirrors within your house moved up the wall, Liverpool’s impact and import diminished, their impotence projected misery onto you. All the while his grinning whiskey face mocked you. I’m the cause of your ills, the root of your chills, it leered. Time snaked and snook. You moved away. The twin towers of accountancy and your aunt gave you new hope. Chelsea rose like a phoenix and smited your hated scot. You had your own new God in Rafa and all was well within your garden. The flowers smelt sweet again and life burst forth all around. You learnt to smile again. But as you know, the unexpected often happens. Like a friend suprising you from behind the curtain, so jumped Fergie back into your life, his red, devilish face upon you, even more grotesque through a mixture of haggard age and whiskey. He laughed at you as his team sailed high once more, a new more detestable prince in Ronaldo at its helm. The rage returned. Deeper seated. Harder edged. More bitter. You learnt you couldn’t win. He would always be there. To break you.

Or…

Did he fuck your ma by any chance?

That’s quality stuff. Even better than your analysis of Farmer’s car rage on the ‘Things That Are Wrong’ thread. Funny shit. I reckon you could make a living writing short stories about Farmer. Anyway, that’s off topic. Looking at Manchester United and players like Eagles, he’s 23 later this year and should be looking to move on to get regular first team football in his career. According to my calculations, if a player’s not featuring regularly by the age of 21 then I reckon he’s not good enough to prosper at whatever team he’s at and the best course of action is to go elsewhere, even down a level if needs be.

Another trophy today won by United today. The success keeps coming. A comprehensive 4.0 win against them Kazier Chiefs. Oh my god I cant believe it. It was a smart finish by young Tom Cleverley for the third.

Sheasy doing the David May routine in the background again.

Giggsy with grey hair at the sides - where have the years gone?

Another win today against a very good Portsmouth Team. Tevez could even miss a penalty in the first half. Johnny Evans played very well against the strikeforce of Defoe and Crouch. Now on to Oles Testimonial next Saturday.

Great day for Ole. 70,000 fans paid homage to the Baby Faced Assasin. He came off the bench and was so unlucky not to have scored with the two efforts he had. He spoke with such emotion after the game that its sad to see him go.

A good overall performance by United. Only thing missing was the goals which should have come in the first half. Scholes chip would have been magnificent if it had gone in. It looks like Frazier Campell will stay. Took his goal well and hope this will bring him on.

Ive been quiet for too long so Ill resurrect the thread. It was annoying after being in the lead for so long but on the other hand a point away at Chelsea was a fantastic result. Rooney giving away a freekick in temper because he lost control of the ball was pathetic and then he argued it with Mike Riley as the freekick was being taken instead of going back and trying to defend. It was harsh on Tevez that he was benched. He has been Uniteds best player all season and to see John O’Shea come on ahead of him was an insult. If United can win the game in hand they will only be 4 behind Arsenal which isnt bad with the three away games United have played.

where were ya last week?

typical manc

only crow when you’re winning

Great input there. http://www.thefreekick.com/board/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif I dont recall United winning today so the point you are making is incorrect.

This is quality. Is it Mike Phelan? Anyway, whoever it is scares the scheidt out of the rest of the bench:

It was funny alright. Im waiting for Soccer Am to show it next Saturday with their usual adding of a ‘hilarious’ sound effect and playing it over and over.

how did gary neville play yesterday…first premiership game in around 18 months i believe…

These weiners have history. Here they are frightened by a thunder storm:

I think he was ok but probabbly could have got a 2nd yellow card and been sent off if Ballack had chosen to go to ground after a rash tackle on the sideline about halfway through the 2nd half. He got a crucial block in after Chelsea got level so I cant really complain about the performance.
