Veron and Carrick were Keaneās replacement too. Donāt like Hargreaves as a player for some reason but heās talented - Bayern will be happy enough to have gotten Toni in with the money though.
Ronaldo sent off for a second yellow for fisting the ball from an attacking corner. What the fook was he at? He claimed he heard a whistle. They won 1-0 and the Manchester City āprojectā has a long, long way to go - a load of passengers in that team.
Great play from Ronaldo today to stop himself hurting his face. Comedy analysis from Redknapp and Gullit about it now.
Gullit: But how is it āunsporting behaviourā? Would it have been handball if he caught the ball?
Eh, yes it would Ruud.
They needed that win to keep in touch with Liverpool and Chelsea.

Gullit contradicted himself 3 or 4 times in the space of a couple of minutes.
Comical stuff
Who is this young lad Tosic(sic) they are after signingā¦Sounds like he has a bit of potentialā¦Has 12 caps for Serbia alreadyā¦Anyone ever seen him playā¦
Good weekend after Liverpool drawing at home. If United win the game in hand then they are only 3 behind.
I see the Fa are at it again banning Patrice Evra for 4 games for that incident that took place after the game at Chelsea last Season. They really are cunts. Drogba gets 3 matchs for throwing a coin in crowd but Evra gets 4 for having a scuffle with a Chelsea member of staff because he trained on the pitch after the game.
yeah, the FA are like totally picking on united
He got fined 15,000 as well so why ban him for 4 games for an incident that took place 6 months ago and it didnt even take place in the game as he was an unused sub that day. If United can appeal it I hope they will.
they proably couldānt take the case util now as there was a police investigation and they couldānt prejudice that. he was an unused sub who got into a row on the pitch after the game that he wanāt involved in
grant you drogba is a bigger cunt, but this was a bigger game and the ramifications were always going to be bigger and deservedly so, especially after throwing allegations of racism into the mix which were quickly withdrawn.
Chris Morgan who fractured Iain Humes skull escaped even without getting a one match ban so thats why I find this ruling on Evra strange. Evra did wrong fair enough and the 15 grand fine would have been sufficent but to give him a 4 game ban was uncalled for as there was an racial aspect to why Evra had a go at the chelsea member of staff.
The games he will miss are
Dec 26th: Stoke (Away)
Dec 29th: Boro (Home)
Jan 4th: Southampton (Fa Cup Away)
Jan 7th: Carling Cup Semi
[quote=āCaptainshanā]there was an racial aspect to why Evra had a go at the chelsea member of staff.

Why, where was your man from?
Ill rephrase that saying that Evra had go at the chelsea member of staff because he was being a racist to Evra.

well considering that utd a bit after the fracas said that there was no racist element and evra distanced himself from reports of racism
lies, damn lies and the gospel according to fergie
Well its been 6 months so I may have to recall some of the facts but if the Chelsea member of staff didnt provoke Evra with racial remarks then I stand corrected. The 4 game ban though is still over the top though.
Tevez hasnt made the starting 11 today for the visit of Sunderland. Its the same 11 that started the derby.
Van Der Sar
Rafael-Rio-Vidic-Evra
Ronaldo-Fletcher-Carrick-Park
Berbatov-Rooney
Subs, Tomaz, Neville, Evans, Anderson, Giggs, Nani, Tevez
I thought OāShea went off injured on Wednesday so we have no cover for the left back poistion at the moment and Evra was suspended for picking up 5 yellows and will miss Spurs next Saturday.
0.0 at half time. It reminds me of the game on Good Friday 2006 when Sunderland managed a 0.0 at Old Trafford that day. 75% of the ball United have but only Rooney has had a good chance to score. Get on Tevez for that waste of money Berbatov.
Fair play to Sunderland. Their players are clearly vastly inferior to Unitedās so every time they play them, it is going to be by definition a damage limitation excercise. You then get stupid cunts like Craig Burley complaining because Sunderland arenāt trying to take United on in a game of football.
