Agreed, an absolute disgrace of a penalty. Ferdinand is a centre back and his pen was much better than Berbatovâs. Apart from being a decent height for the keeper there wasnât much wrong with it.
Apart from the fact it was saved of course!
Wouldnt have had any issue with Rio taking a pen. Heâs a decent ball player, and its 12 yards out FFS. Any pro footballer should be fit to take one.
Celebrity Bainisteoir had 2 better pens than Berbs.
Tevez should have taken the first peno like he did in Moscow and the Carling Cup final. Scholes should have taken a peno ahead of Rio or Vidic. Im glad Rio got another run out yesterday. Perhaps his lack of games could be contributing to his back injury and too much rest might be a bad thing for him at the moment.

Hes a cunt. Dont want him starting again. Hes behind Rooney, Tevez, Macheda and Welbeck in the forward players at Manchester United. Lazy fecker. Compared to Cantona. An insult to Eric.
Ah yeah I know, all you can do is put it as wide as you can, and hope the keeper goes the wrong way or else hope itâs wide enough to beat him anyway. Ferdinandâs peno wasnât tucked right in the corner (only the very best ones are) but it was definitely fairly wide, and a competent effort in comparison with Berbatovâs lazy effort.
I know itâs weird sledge but itâs the truth. Rio has for sometime been affected by a dodgy back that seems to flare up when he has played a few games in a row. Yesterdayâs game canât have helped with all the defending that had to be done. I just hope it doesnât fuck him up for future games. Him and Vidic together are more vital to Unitedâs fortune this season than ever.
think united are really beginning to miss the workrate and simplicity of hargreaves right nowâŚthought he was brilliant for them this time last yearâŚ
Someone was listening to Dunphy last Tuesday
In fairness, Hargreaves is probably more a cog in the engine than anything else, but that doesnât mean he canât be missed when collective fatigue becomes a factor, as it has been for the past 8 weeks. Anyone who is injured will be missed. Hardly an excuse though.
Who wrote it?
Hargreaves is nothing more than a journeyman in my opinion, a good grafter but overratedâŚ
United need a spark from somewhere, a serious lack of momentum coming into the last month of the season
I donât necessarily disagree but every team has their excuses. Example: Chelsea have the best defence in the league but sometimes just lack a bit of a spark to open teams up and turn a draw into a win. I reckon Joe Cole could have provided that in a couple of games this season. Etc etc and so on

no wasnât listening to dunphyâŚI wouldnât form any opinion from that clownâŚJust think he was immense in the big games last year in the run inâŚsome man
to win ball and happy to give it to some one more capable than him and also put in his fair share of crosses when played down the rightâŚ
with two lazy cnuts like berbatov and ronaldo he is needed more important than everâŚ
ridiclous statement Puke how many clubs has he had to be a journey man???..
We were over this before scumpot in relation to mick o driscoll
âA journeyman or journeywoman is an athlete or professional sports player who is technically competent, but unable to excel.â

where was that defined??..a journey man to me is someone who moved from place to place to do a specific job and was never that good but carved out a career at the lower end of a professional sport from pure graftâŚthink Robbie savage of derby or Steve Howard of leicesterâŚhargreaves has played for two of the biggest clubs in the world and won the most prestigous honoursâŚ
He has won plenty alright but in terms of ability he is average enough, a good worker and will run all day but wouldnât be a fan, plenty more like him aroundâŚ
By the way journeyman can have a few different meaningsâŚ
Joe Cole has no pace, no presence, rarely scores, cant cross a ball and has been overhyped to the eyeballs since he was 17.
Youâre really looking for a hiding today KIB Man. If he stays fit in coming seasons he will establish himself as a far superior winger than most of the pretenders currently floating about.
