Cracking Solskjaer video there.
Didnāt see the game yesterday as I was watching the Diet Huns/Huns jamboree on one of the other screens in the pub.
It seems United are struggling to create chances still?

Great win today beating chelsea. Played well. Created a lot more chances in this game than the last 3 in the league. Defence looking very solid. Wes and Rio in particular. Carrick had a cracking game. Looked very composed and won a lot of ball in the middle of the park. Tevez got off the mark with a well taken goal. When Saha came on it changes the way United attack and even though he made a meal out of it was a penalty.
Very comfortable for Utd. Chelsea are a spent force now. They have a right ugly coont managing them now too. Itās all falling to pieces for them.
Saha Utdās top scorer, how many minutes has he played, about 20-30?
He played 45 mins against Sunderland and 10-15 mins in each of the three games following so probbably 90 mins in total.
Hopefully it wonāt take too many more performances like that before everyone cops onto the fact that Abramovic has appointed a rinky-dink coach.

And when Abramovich realises it heāll appoint himself as Manager.
But he doesnāt have the necessary coaching quali- oh wait, itās the Premiership.
Abramovich will buy his coaching licence of Ebay or summat.
Great result for Utd last night. No more worthless games to play, Chelsea can have it again if they want.
74,000 in to watch the game last night is mad. Did these clowns not realise it was the League Cup?!
Heard it on the radio as it wasnt on anywhere online. Really suprised the bench didnt have Saha, Ronaldo and Wazza on it just in case it wasnt going Uniteds way. Anderson the only player that played well according to the commentary I heard.

Do they care about the League Cup though?
I see quotes from Ferguson this morning where he says they do and how disappointed he is but deep down I wonder if heās really all that bothered?
74,000! Were they selling the tickets on the cheap or something. Then again Chelsea only got 24,973 in for a Champions league game after lowering prices for the tickets against Rosenberg so maybe that wouldnt make a difference.

I can see what you saying but Ferguson wants the fringe players to play some football so incase any of the first team injured then they wont go in cold. Personally I would havent made 11 changes. Maybe have started Saha and Rooney so at least it would have tested the Coventry defence.
Iām not sure about ManU but Arsenal sold all tickets for a tenner the other night and got a 60,000 sell out which is also impressive for the League Cup.
Ferguson saying that the cup does mean something is redundant. His actions spoke louder than his words. He put out the following:
Kuszczak, Bardsley, Evans, Pique, Simpson, Nani, Martin, OāShea, Eagles, Dong, Anderson.
I cant see many of these lining out against Roma next week. Clearly he doesnt value the cup at all even if he says he does.

Season ticket holders at Old Trafford have to buy a ticket for every cup game whether they want to go to the match or notā¦a friend of my brotherās is a season ticket holder and is well peeved off by this.
this has been the case since the Glazerās took over

That is quite a pisser alright. Iād be well annoyed if I was a season ticket holder.
Another poor performance and only for the woefulness of Birmingham it would have been a defeat. The defence had a torrid time first half and it wasnt helped with Scholes bad ball in the first minute that put Jerome through. Evra was very poor in getting skinned by McSheffrey and only for Rio off the line it was 1.0. Fair play to Ronaldo. Took his goal really well. Had a lot to do and he did it superb. Keep on winning is all United can do no matter how this is achieved. Hoping for something more pretty Tuesday.
Thats the kind of win United needed today to show that its not all about one nils. First half losing Vidic and OāShea disrupted the play and any momentum United had but in the second they just got at Wigan and Tevez scored a brillant goal. He had to do a lot to score it but he did. Then Ronaldo got a couple. A header from 2 yards and a tap in after a world class ball by Wayne. Then the young lad Simpson put in a brilliant ball for Rooney to score the goal he deserved. Anderson looked impressive. Good touch and intelligent
Ferguson said that United had ten players injured when you count OāShea and Vidic going off and Saha having to pull out in the warmup. At least the international break gives United a chance to get a few players back.
