The Northman is grand. Pure Norse mythology… The scene as he and others worked themselves up to be wild animals before battle is a great adaption of how the Berserkers supposedly ‘transformed’ themselves before battle.

It’s the standard hero story from mythology. Like Jesus even… We get the story till the boy is 11/12 and then picks up again as the boy is a man who must succeed on his heroes quest. The battle or journey is always within
