The Non Limerick Chippers Thread

Feeking meant a couple of things years ago back there.

I think it depended on who you were talking to :grinning:

The term mush doesnt go beyond Askeaton and Rathkeale as far as I know.

I remember working with a fella from Rathkeale years ago and he would be mush this and mush that.

Harmless enough fella. He didnt have an ounce of traveller in him either. That was his lexicon. Further into west Limerick its not as prevalent, I’d assume?

It’s not even really used in Askeaton. More in a piss take fashion.

All the rathkeale lads use it, traveller or not.

Makes sense.

They are not called “the mushes” for nothing

Any chipper recommendations along the Copper Coast lads? @ChairmanDan @Fagan_ODowd @Thornhill?

Doolys in Tramore would be the go-to chipper in the area. O’Sheas chip van in the car park of the Pickardstown service station Tramore would also be excellent. After that you’d be fairly stuck until you got to And Chips in Dungarvan.

There was some queue outside Doolys earlier.

Cheers boss. Gonna car camp below in Bunmahon, could only imagine the crowd that was around during the afternoon alright.

Which direction are you heading.
Bit off the end of it at either side is a good on.
in Dunore east - East Pier is meant to be good.
In Dungarvan - And Chips is the place to go.
I wouldn’t know if any one on the route itself .

Great to see the place buzzing again. It’s been a long winter and this weekend was the first bit of sun.

Dooly’s will do sure. We’re gonna head for Tramore via the city anyway, so that’d probably be handy.
