Kildorrey beat St Kieranâs of limerick 1-11 to 0-12 in the junior hurling final
Nobody to blame but themselves.
Nothing surer than if Coolderry or Kilcormac/Killoughey had to play the Kilkenny champions theyâd have been beaten by double digits. Its a mirror image of what happened on the intercounty stage in the 80âs, when Wexford would do the hard part beating Kilkenny in a Leinster semi final only to contrive to lose to Offaly in the final.
Dissapointing from Oulart. Thomasâ will walk the All ireland
So much for Portlaoise being potential All Ireland Champions.
Oulart will probably win the Wexford championship again next year. They should do the honourable thing and give their place in the Leinster championship to the beaten finalists.
Surely anyone who is in the race is a potential winner of it farmer?
That was very poor from Portlaoise, they kicked it away quite frankly and can have no one to blame but themselves, but it was a pretty dire contest on the whole. Parkinson was right last year, and heâs still right his year.
Ballymun are decent, but after seeing that contest Crokes, Brigids or Cross wouldnât fear them too much youâd imagine.
Well done to Kilcormac Kiloughey, a crowd of decent sorts
Just watching the Oulart game. The biff keeper basically got hit by two Garrett Sinnott efforts early in the second half. Probably the winning of it in the end. The Harriers would have walked through Leinster.
Ah fair play to the Offaly chaps. Immense team effort and work rate. A couple of inspirational points at the end by yer man Currams who resumed in the second half after going off in the first half when he was split open.
+1 to all that. Wexford hurling would sicken your hole.
Any relation of Liam Currams?
Crossmaglen vs Ballymun⌠a social workers dream
Paddy O Gorman will be in his element here when these two set of fans come face to face
Are you familiar at all with Ballymun Kickhams ?
Unlikely to happen. Will be a Kiltoom/Killarney final. Ballymun will get a hammering from Dr.Crokes while the Cross full-back line wonât have the guile for St.Bridgetâs inside line that will include Pukeâs pal, Frankie Dolan and Senan Kilbride.
Very few of the kickhams lads are from the flats area as far as I know Fagan.
Most are from Collins Avenue near the Autoban pub, Ballygall, Glasnevin type area.
They be from quite a middle class area really. They might play the socially deprived area card a bit to draw down grants. A few from the flats play juvenile but that is about it as far as I know
Man of the Match Jason Whelan didnât sound middle class.
Certainly when I was playing senior football in Dublin in the 80s Ballymunâs problem was that they were too nice.
Son of Liam I believe. Liam was some stylish performer especially in the football
Read on another forum that he is his nephew
