The Official All-Ireland Senior Football Championship 2013 Thread

You’re not in a quarter final

You’re literally the thickest cunt the internet has ever seen

We will be though by the time were done with Galway this saturday.

Cork never feared Galway

We have players in our team that other counties supporters can only dream of having. With the right tactics this Cork team will beat anyone.Rebels Abu!

If Donegal reach the quarter-finals they’ll have to play Dublin, Kerry or Mayo, and I’d take any of those three over them. They are a team that are mentally drained. Their style demands total intensity that they don’t look willing or able to give this year, and they look in exactly the same place that Dublin were last year. That isn’t altogether unexpected as 21 of the last 22 All-Ireland champions have had the same problem. There are serious injury issues in that squad and Donegal players must be dreading the next couple of weeks - the last thing they will want now is to have to play three weeks in a row. I think they’ll beat Laois but could be well beaten in the quarter-finals, and if it’s Dublin they will be.

It was a training match, no more, and to read anything into it is crazy. Mayo beat Sligo by a point in a dreadful Connacht Final last year if memory serves. They were a different team in Croke Park.

Yeah, cos I was definitely lambasting your opinion on football matters over your overall idiocy. Have a read over your reply to kev

Neil McGee. Brilliant. Sure completely ignore the tanking he got in his most important game of the year.

MDM? Seriously. Fucking hell Sid. He is a fine player, but Hughes and Lennon today out did any midfield play from Dublin this year.

At least you didn’t pick Gooch. It was funny, Gooch got MOTM from quite a few people the last day, yet nearly all the same commentators mention James Loughry in the running a well, Gooch’s own man. It’s amazing how many people are blinded to the weaknesses in Kerry and some of their individuals.

Are you talking about me?o_O

Fair point on Mayo. Still Sligo full belt are a better side than London an their attitude was good against Sligo if their football was poor. This trying to run thru London (and over carrying alot IMO) won’t work in CP.

Neil McGee has been Donegal’s best player after McFadden in the championship, excellent against Tyrone and Down. Kieran Hughes was immense today and that’s no slight on McGee. Who would you have at full-back instead of him? There isn’t exactly an abundance of choices in that position.

Cluxton hasn’t been as good this year either. Kealy has been impressive as was the 2 keepers yesterday in Ulster final

Well Wiley was better yesterday, although you get the feeling he could be a liability at times. You have picked wing backs to play in the centre so their is a plethora of corner backs playing very well who on your criteria should go in there.

You can’t pick him after today, he was absolutely destroyed yet he had massive protection.

Well I was going to pick Ger Brennan, Kev, as he clearly has been the best centre-back in Ireland this year, but fuck it, Dessie Mone deserves a place somewhere after today.

Ger Brennan.
How long is it since you played the game?
Discussion over.

Donegal caught everyone on the hop last year? So they came from nowhere, with no forewarning, no endless commentary on their style of play and no adjustment whatsoever from any team that played them?

Tell you what mate, we’ll keep dreaming about having your players, and you fuck off back to play school.

Why is Conor Gormley not there?

Because Sid didn’t pick him.

Well obviousy he didn’t which is why I’m asking what is the logic behind that, you thick fuck.

Really, Kev, really?

This is what you’re reduced to?
