Mushrooms lads, mushrooms.
Teddy Mc.
That is it. No manager has ever gone out happy to lose a game.
Hurling is in a pretty good place at the moment. Munster teams are all pretty strong. Kk obviously, Galway and potentially Dublin with the right manager all decent also.
The best a county can really do is give themselves a chance.
Tipp look to have the best players by a chunk, but a fair few teams will fancy a crack at them. They don’t give you the sinking feeling that kk did for, well, your whole life basically (mine at least)
It’s hard to see a team being dominant for a decade for the next while, in part because kk have made everyone go semi-pro, and have been caught up.
There will be a good few close games I think that could go either way in the next few years.
Tipps record of back to backs and KK, while certainly still in the running, not the force they once were would give you hope that this one is wide open. Hard to see anyone stepping up to Tipps level if they can maintain it though
In the next 5 years I think Tipp will win 2 , Galway 1 and maybe KK one . WD next likely . If Lk , CE and Dublin are well managed there will be ultra competitive . Hard to know with Wex but it won’t be boring.
I think Cork are doing serious work at schools and underage and if they get in right there is a potential juggernaut there.
Tipp have a rolls Royce of a team if their heads are right, but there always seems to be a chance of a bad performance from them somewhere along the way.
If Tipp play near the level of last year’s AI final they will be very hard to beat .
Galway the best chance to beat them TBH .
just backed cork for the all ireland there
Good lad .
CONFIRMED: @OfficialCorkGAA V @LimerickCLG at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick at 2pm on Sunday for @MunsterGAA Senior Hurling League Final.
@ChocolateMice
Galway the second best team in the country for the last two years. Second year of a new manager this year should see further improvement. Seeing as Tipp can’t do two in a row Galway are my favourites for the AI, provided Canning is fully recovered.
Cork to beat Galway in AI Final nailed on
In fairness any team would beat Galway if they got to a final.
Except Mayo.
Mayo have regularly beaten Galway in finals.
You meant Kildare.
Well i’m not saying its a bad strategy, and i accept it if it is one. Because at least it is a plan. Thats a giant step.
I think if you are KK or Tipp you can really do what i suggest. But also Limerick or Galway for instance. They won’t be relegated.
In amateur sport 1-2 peaks is all you will get.
Trainer has to work within Managers strategy. I suppose there has to be a level of comfort and confidence in where you are. In 2015 i was told have them ready for AI 1/4 Final, fuck everything else. And it could have backfired.
Do you think this is some sort of combined effort or something?
If anyone is doing well its down to the individual clubs, schools or teams.
Kilkenny beat Galway easily last year
Ah come off it, look at the semis.
