Suppose there wasnât a write up or anything in the program.
Why in the sweet fuck is Griffin playing full-back.
Laughable penalty, fuck knows what the ref/umpire were looking at.
Big worry - besides the form of Harnedy and Hoggyâs freetaking - is the physicality of our U-21s. Griffin, Coleman and Fitzgibbon in particular were all bullied. Coleman will be targeted repeatedly if he indeed starts come championship. Donal Burke is younger - and bigger - than all of them.
Leaving Griffin on OâDwyer for 25 minutes was inexplicable. Having Griffin on the square full-stop is inexplicable, particularly when our half-back line has zero interest in supporting their inside backs.
Forwards still have no idea how to use their bodies to slow down the opposing backs. They either foul or do nothing.
This is why this management really do not get itâŚagain. Size is not the fucking problem.
Tony Kelly anyone???
Shit coaching. Training is very average by all accounts
Tony Kelly doesnât win much ball at inter county level. Heâs good enough in other areas to make up for it though
whereas I agree with everything you say above would there be a level of let them at it and learn their trade??
Young Griffin, Coleman and Fitzgibbon all look as if they have the hurling and legs. Its the physicality they lack (whats new in Cork hurling over the last 10 years) and they certainly wont learn it at club level.
I was watching the sideline (On TV admittedly) and Meyler seemed to want to physically drag Hoggie off himself. Kingston seemed to want to leave him in. Its either a genius stoke by Kingston to not destroy his confidence or a major blunder to show that no matter how bad guys play they will never be taken off.
Guys have been letting Horgan off with this since Day 1.
Someone else said recently he needs to be out tge field. I agree, in 13 when he played well it was at centre forward or on the wing and ge actually had a significant influence on the team while there.
Otherwise its time to ditch him.
Myler is a good lad to have there but one has too feel there are way way too many personalities there now.
Whatâs your opinion on Wesley OâBrien Kev.

No one from Ballincollig on that Cork panel.
