The Official Cork GAA 2017 Thread

The surname/breeding game shows, Connery (na piarsaigh) Sheehan (mallow) and it might be a stretch but O’Connell (Midleton) and Murphy (sars)
First thing I look for on an underage team sheet

Good chance we’ll meet in the Minor AI final.

Interesting question on that.

Is it the genetics or the environment.

We all become alerted to the names of the people we recognise. But how many sons of IC players get nowhere? Sometimes coming in on the same club and even the same teams.

Our star forward in the Minors Evan Sheehan is out injured for the semi. Advantage Dublin.

Ffs.

Cork are 10 points a better team.

I saw him play the other night so its i wonder what happened

It gives me no joy to be right, but our genius will no doubt be etched in stone somewhere when the time comes.

Good piece here with one of the quiet men of Cork GAA, one of the best defenders of the modern era in my book

Good and all as Mulcahy and Murphy were I’d have had Sherlock ahead of both, a warrior.

Mulcshy wouldn’t lace WS boots . If Sherlock was corner back in 2006 I think Cork might have won :

Hell of an interview. Very honest. Which fits the character.

There is absolutely no doubt about that.

In ways, if fit, he could have played ahead of anyone bar Sully. As graceful and stylish as sean og and tom kenny were Sherlock was more effective than any of them.

Murphy was a far better player than Sherlock.

Ah here Kev?

Maybe a bit quicker and stickier but Sherlock better all round . Sherlock a decent half back too .
