The Official Fair City Thread - Has Bella Not Died Yet?

Christy should give Bob a job standing out on the street with one of them signs trying to tempt people into the pub. Bob was a proper cunt to Christy before don’t forget.

[FONT=Helv][SIZE=2][FONT=Helv][SIZE=2]Bob was indeed a horrible horrible man, and despite Barry’s faults he shouldn’t be dragged into that sordid affair. Sarah is a right little madam for trying to drag him into it but I was mightily impressed with the way Barry went about laying down the law to McAleer - three cheers for Barry.

In other news, I really really fancy Heather. It’s not big and it’s not clever, but I can’t get over it.

It really can’t possibly get any lower than this for Damian. Having a munter like Suzanne throwing a 50 pound note at him and telling him to get the shopping while she goes to work. Listening to a munter like Suzanne whinging all day long. The worst of all was saying he would pay for lunch and not having the 17.50 to pay for it and having Suzanne shout out to everyone in the restaurant, Its ok sure I’l pay for it, I’l pay for everything. Low. low, low

Was glad to see Jo get so upset last night.

It was a shock to see Blackie Conners, the rascal, last night. Not so much of a shock that he owes money though.

The Years have been a friend to Blackie hes lookin well,Damo hasnt a fuckin hope of gettin any dough out of him though,Blackie will prove too slippery for Damo, this whole thing is having a huge strain on Damos marriage the poor cunt, things arent bad eneogh for him without that fella whos supposed to be playing a cop(he wouldnt act the eejit as the bossman used to say) lining himself up to clambour aboard Suzanne, shes going to get it in a big way off this lad over Christmas by the looks of things.

Tributes have been paid to the late ‘Fair City’ star Joan Brosnan Walsh.

The actress, who was best known as the character Mags Kelly in ‘Fair City’, announced her departure from the RT series in January after declaring that she had contracted motor neurone disease the previous year.

She appeared on ‘The Late Late Show’ on 23 January 2009 with her husband, Willie, to discuss her condition, with many of her ‘Fair City’ colleagues paying her warm and emotional tributes

I saw Mags on the Late Late Show that time and thought she came across as really brave given the horrible condition that she had. She was still laughing and joking a lot but it was quite a sad interview really.

Charlie was in the crowd that night almost in tears.

RIP.

Poor aul Charlie has had it tough.

MND seems like a particularly awful disease, not that any of them are good. Don’t know a massive deal about it but there appears to be no cure for it and it must be very difficult for loved ones to see someone literally waste away over a period of months or years. RIP to the lady - I admired her bravery in that interview too.

Cleo is looking tasty tonight.

If there’s a better show on TV than Fair City then I haven’t seen it.

the only way it could have been better is if leo decked dean

Fair City was quality tonight, and so was Eastender, and so was Cornation Street:clap:

That scene with the Christmas cracker will surely win Irish television scene of the decade.

Closely followed by Leo playing “Going to The chapel” on his guitar. Tonight, the TV licence fee was finally justified.

The script, directing, production and, most of all, the acting last night was a joy to behold.

The snow was breathtaking.

just watching last nights repeat here now, super stuff
