I don’t know Larry, Cuthbert is awful defensively and he will be exposed against the Aussies. That was proved yet again last Saturday. I doubt Bowe will be back in time to be honest. I’d put him straight in, to be honest he should be there in the first place.
Absolutely no chance of him starting the first test. He has come on leaps and bounds since underage, but I don’t think leaving him out of squad was that harsh to be honest. If Bowe and North are fit for the remaining tests, they are both superior to Zebo. Always option of playing Halfpenny on wing too.

I think it was harsh Larry he is playing better than Maitland and should have got his spot. He is a better fullback than Maitland as well. North plays on the opposite wing and he has that sewn up. Maitland is playing fullback the next day, surely they should have put him on the wing if he had a chance of a test spot. The first test might come too soon, but Cuthbert is a huge liability defensively and I’d have Zebo all day long over him on the wing. If Bowe does prove his match fitness obviously he is a certain starter.
I’d have Gilroy ahead of Zebo. I recognise that I’m a little biased though. Perhaps you’re seeing things through Munster tinted glasses also. He has had a very good spell but in no way is he a far superior player to what is there.
Ah Larry Zebo is a better player than Gilroy, I think that’s fact. Most people felt Zebo was unlucky not to go, Bowe and North are better players, but I think he will do a better job than Cuthbert on the wing.

Underage no comparison. Gilroy was streets ahead of Zebo. Zebo has come on a huge amount all right while Gilroy found it more difficulty initially.

I agree Zebo is far from the finished article, but how can you say unless there are some serious injuries he won’t be a test starter, since he only has Cuthbert and at a push Maitland in his way. Cuthbert is not good enough to be a test winger, it will be Gatlands loyalty to him that will have him in the team.
