We are now, and that’s all that matters. Portumna will be glad of the publicity, it can be a very dead town at this time of the year*.

Does @Horsebox know about all these dolphins? Maybe Portumna could sell itself as a tourist destination to him and other dolphin fetishists?
And I capitalised the word “dolphin” and all.

In the past week I’ve taken in Galway, Moycullen, Kinvara, Lahinch, Adare, Killarney, Kenmare, Sneem and am heading towards Kinsale today. Ireland is truly a glorious place when we get a bit of sunshine.
Great list.
Tell us about Lahinch
What did you get up to in Kinvara mate?
Are you an itinerant by any chance?
We had a quick bite in oranmore after the races last evening and took a leisurely drive home with many stops via kinvara, tracht, new quay & flaggy shore, ballyvaughan & fanore. A lovely evening for it.
Kinvara was busy with a large crowd down at the pier, we walked by and did not imbibe as we had places yet to see.
The large number of caravans and camper vans all along the route was remarkable.
Off to doolin & lahinch today, will take in a stroll in lahinch, a game at doolin p&p and a visit to o’connors to meet Patrick t.
Took a stroll around the Friday market in our Maccabi Haifa jerseys

Do the jigsaw KP. The Times is just fucking wall to wall World War 1 soup taking these days.
Not sure if you have plans kp but heres a couple of suggestions.
Imma. Its only about 10/15 mins walk from the aisling in kilmainham. Halfdecent exhibition usually. Decent coffee shop downstairs with spacefor the kids. And outside in the walled garden you have at least an hours worth of hide and seek style games.
Rainy day. Get on the luas to imaginosity in the sandyford industrial estate. One of the best designed places ever for children. It has so much cool shit for them. Well worth it. Ring first as they book sessions. That luas leaves from stephens green not the one outside
your hotel.
Sunny day. Get the cruise from town out to howth from the ferryman pub at 11 am… Howth is good craic for pier strolls, has a very good playground and has decent fish places for yourself and the lady. Get the dart back into town. Keep an eye out for fagan while you’re there.
Top man Juh… Imaginosity booked already for Wednesday. The Howth option looks great.
