Ok so this season is now officially a write off, a very bad case of very bad luck. I have never ever seen a team to be so beset by Ian Durieās ever. Billie got found out on the back of it big time. Still we have the greatest owner in football and Andy Reid. I will be absolutely shocked if we do not go up next year, absolutely shocked.
According the Daily Mail (I know, I know) Forest have approached MON to become their next manager. Was @croppy right after all? Time will tellā¦

avid readers of the aviation disasters thread will be aware of my nostras damas like penchant for calling it bang on.
i dont want to reveal sources but my understanging is the Martin OāNeill is prostituting himself heavily in trying to get the notts forst gig but his wage demands look like being a demand too far.
he probably will come out saying he has no intention of leaving the Ireland job once his wage demands are refused. dont say i didnt tell you.
Zola is now clear favourite:), Hoddle as expected has drifted right out. Plesase God, prove youāre existence once and for all by making it Gianfranco
Sad to see the decline of the Forest.
Fuck off with your decline, itās just a 20 year blip

Regarding Daviesā sacking, I came across this tonight. It makes for humorous readingā¦
Who knew Simon Cox had such a violent streak in him?!

In Karl Darlow, I think we have Englandās future number one in our hands beyond doubt. Some stunning saves today, a hard earned point but weāll take it. Good to see Brazil give Osborn his chance.
It was against Ipswitch though
Davies wouldnāt throw a young guy in like that no matter who we were playing. He ignored our youth team. Was forced into giving Lascelles his run in the team due to injuries and Darlow was already no 1 when he arrived.
@Gary Birtles Lovechild
Didnāt Birtles spell his first name with two ārā's?

Welcome aboard mate.
Looks like the job is Pearceās from the summer onwards. With Brian Laws possibly helping out until the end of the season. All very uninspiring stuff.
Confirmed.
Cannot take over now because of shit with his ex mrs apparently. Pearceās managerial record doesnāt exactly fill you with confidence but heās a Forest Legend and damn sight more inspirational than the likes of mediocre Mick.
It looks like Fawaz has written this year off as a bust anyway. Would be some craic if Brazil did manage to get us up now, what the fuck happens then?
If Brazil did somehow manage to get us up, you can take it as certain he would not want the job on a permanent basis. His job is the academy, and he says thatās where he sees himself. Jimmy Gilligan and Steve Sutton were interviewed there on Monday, said theyāre happy to help Brazil out with the first team but do not want it to be a long term thing. Gilligan was actually running a Nike school academy beside, but separate from, St Georgeās (the FAās new national development centre in Staffordshire) before he joined Forest and has many contacts through that. Has scouted many players across the globe, three of which heās brought to Forestās academy.
Anyways, I think weāll beat the Hooligans on Saturday, and that should set us up nicely for Tuesday nightās game against Wednesday, which Iām going to.
