Lansbury, Vaughan, Wilson and The Irish Messi all included in tomorrowās match day squad for Scumwall game. Things might be lookin up.
#āNFFCā¬ Starting XI: Darlow, Jara, Lascelles, CollinsĀ©, Harding, Mackie, Peltier, Lansbury, Paterson, Derbyshire, Henderson
Wilson done his back in again! Beginning to think he doesnāt actually exist. Good to see Lansbury back. Game has come to soon for both Reid & Vaughan, neither are on the bench.
3-3 from 3-1 down, comeback of the week:clap:
In other news we are fucking shit:(
Safe trip back from the City Ground @Gary Birtles Lovechild
Just back from the game now. A strange yet exciting contest, particularly the last 20 mins. We were poor in the first period - main tactic being route one from Collins and more often Lascelles, straight to Henderson. Buxton had him in his back pocket the whole game. Henderson was worse than awful. I donāt think he won a single header all match. However bad we were, Wednesday were worse. Just how they went in 2-1 up at the break I really donāt know.
Second half we upped the tempo, but then they hit us with a sucker punch from a short corner. It was a good finish to be fair to Mattock. We did a bit of huffing and puffing but it was Wednesday who created the better chances. Two free headers from crosses should have been buried, both by Leon Best. Marking from Collins & Lascelles was non existant.
Henderson soon missed an open goal by falling flat on his arse, and was mercifully subbed. The relief in the crowd was palpable. Tudgay offered more threat and took his goal well, a tidy back post header after good work by Mackie. Yet it was only when the useless Collins got his marching orders from an equally useless & inconsistent ref, that we really sparked to life.
Mackie chased lost causes, winning corners & throws. Osborn who had come on for Lansbury, was linking well with Patterson, who in turn was by now terrifying the Wednesday full back and right mid. Peltier was flying into tackles and Lascelles had transformed into a black Bobby Moore at the back. Patterson went close a couple of times. And he got his reward for a MOM performance when his free kick flew past the static Kirkland near full time. Either side could have won it in injury time - we piled forward yet Wednesday were dangerous on the break.
For once the result wasnāt the most significant factor, more so the desire to not give in despite trailing by two goals and underperforming.
Best players on the night were Patterson, Mackie, Lansbury & Peltier - in that order.
Jara and Henderson need to realise their team-mates are the ones playing in the red shirts! More passes went to black shirts from these players than Iāve had hot dinners. Collins also needs to go, heās just poor - losing possession, misplacing passes, constantly fouling, poor marking, etc.
Thereās plenty for Pearce to work with. But we certainly need to add in the summer.
Great stuff GBL, says it all about our current predicament when a trollop like Collins becomes captain. Great to see Henri back whatever else, his injury was the smoking gun in our initial implosion this year
With regard to Abdoun & Djebbour being frozen out of the squad latelyā¦
I heard Djebbour had Billy in a headlock forcing him to play, then Abdoun jumped on Billyās shoulders and fell over Reid - resulting in him getting injured. Lansbury & Wilson then ran in and fractured their backs trying to pick him up. #ITK
Ex Derry City starlet Stephen McLaughlin makes his debut in the famous Garibaldi Red today which should give you some indication of our injury woes. Hope it goes well for him.Keeper Darlow, who Liverpool were said to be snooping around in the Jan window is out, dunno if heās been dropped or injured
Nottingham Forest FC ā@Official_NFFC 3s
#NFFC Starting XI: De Vries, Halford, Lascelles, CollinsĀ©, Harding, Vaughan, Paterson, Mackie, McLaughlin, Osborn, Derbyshire
#NFFC Subs: Evtimov, Greening, Jara, Majewski, Abdoun, Tudgay, Henderson
Just put 5 on McLaughlin there for 1st GS(14s Hills) and saw that Andy Reid was in the market with most firms at roughly average 12/1 even though heās out for the season. Fucking scoundrels.
Matt Derbyshire 1-0:clap:
Matt Derbyshire 2-0:clap:
Forest well on top but need to be careful now that Greening is on for Vaughan. Vaughan is a class act all the way but only capable of 60 minutes with his injury. Well impressed with McLaughlin, brilliant play for the 1st goal. Osborn too had impressed and Derbyshire has been a revelation under Brazil.
I see the usual Leeds loudmouth apologists @Mac and @chewy louie have gone very quiet all of a sudden, quelle surprise!
McLaughlin fucking class, should have been no 3
These Yorkies are as soft as shit. Going down any chance they can.
What a difference bringing youth into the team has made. Osborn & McLaughlin have been terrific, Davies would have let both rot in the reserves.
Hang on in there lads. COYR!
Our keepers are jinxed! Massive 10 mins ahead for Evtimov on his debut. Great keeper, go show them kid!
That was a hell of a first touch.
Leeds kit is a fucking abomination.

Itās true what they say that football clubs take on the characteristics of their supporters
Down to our 3rd choice now, fucking hell
Heās a bit shaky this fella.
6 points and two clean sheets from our last 2 games, itās just like last November all over again:clap:
