the ref rode Wednesday I hear
Some start from Pearce. Riding the crest of a wave. Long season ahead but on current form will certainly be in the shake up for promotion.
Fuck off with your riding the crest of a wave shite. Stuart Pearce bleeds Nottingham Forest blood, he’s our yesterday, today and tomorrow.
We might not have the greatest owner in the land, but he’s definitely in the top one.

The Guardian today says “Pearce’s reign at the City Ground could not have begun better as they lead the Championship table after four wins from five games”
I must be missing something but if they’d won the fifth game, it could have begun better.
just saw the highlights, Forrest should have been hammered, they won’t be involved at the business end of things
Watched the first half, they did nothing but play straight long balls to the lad up front. He missed a free header inside the 6 yard box as well
Forrest won’t be. Forest however will be. If you think not then you know little about the team.
For the record we had chances, first half particularly, that the BBC bizarrely chose not to show in the highlights. No team can dominate every game like we’ve been doing. Wednesday were a very physical and imposing team, they can play on the deck too. We’ve played better certainly but apart from a couple of hairy moments in the last 15 minutes, we looked comfortable throughout. They got in behind us once, for their first chance in the third minute, but Mancienne took it off Stevie May’s toe. Mancienne gave as good a performance yesterday as I’ve ever seen from a Forest defender - he was class personified and I can see why Hamburg tried hard to keep him in the Bundesliga.
We did look tired though, second half especially, the break gives is a chance to recharge the batts. Disappointed Reid pulled out of Ireland squad but he needs the rest and recuperation after 7 games in the space of 22 days.

Good result, that was potentially a very tricky game, especially away - fair few yellows in in? Think you’re right about the break, we have a series of tricky games coming up in September, though we’re certainly capable of winning all of them. Pleasing we’ve only conceded the three goals so far.
Derby (H) then Fulham (H), Millwall (A), Brighton (H), Wigan (A)
What the fucks happened to Fulham?

Magath thought he could blood lots of youth, that The Championship would be a formality and a walk in the park. He’s getting his answer now. 7 players against Derby last weekend who were aged 21 or under. Fucking suicide. You can’t do that in this division, no wonder The Sheep ripped them a new one.
Mental stuff, 3 goals in 5 games, conceded 10.
Guys, I can’t find the link but you might like to use google to find a very interesting interview with Stuart Pearce in yesterday’s Daily Telegraph. I can’t wait for the mouthwatering Derby derby clash at lunchtime.
