Decent performance and result by the reserves today. A good cup run would be nice. 7 wins in a row now in all competitions. Motoring along nicely and looking forward to Tuesday night and the Scousers.

Tonight would be a great occasion for @Lazarus to make a TFK comeback. Surely he’s delighted with Coach Nuno’s irrepressible drive for the league title.

It’s a sure sign of how far we’ve progressed, that I’m actually disappointed to only take a point from the league leaders. Despite the murderers throwing the kitchen sink at us for the final 30 minutes, I still feel we could have won that.

RATINGS:

SELS - 9
The £5m bargain buy just keeps getting better. Outstanding save after outstanding save tonight. Brilliant communicator and solid at corners. The only one he couldn’t get to led to the goal when Gakpo stood in his way on the goal line.

AINA - 8
Solid when defending, more of the ball went down Forest’s left flank. Bombed forward to support Elanga when he could. Excellent goal line block late on.

MURILLO - 9
Just awesome. The ball is like a magnet to him.

MILENKOVIC - 8
Headed and hoofed everything in sight. Him and Murillo are our greatest asset.

WILLIAMS - 9
Liverpool targeted him by sending a lot of ball in Salah’s direction. Neco coped admirably. Salah was more subdued than normal. Made one outstanding block with his head in the first half.

YATES - 7
Scrapped for everything and won back a fair amount of ball. Needs to cut out the niggly fouls though. Some of them are very needless. Our ‘Robbie Savage’ and possibly the most annoying opposition player in the league

ANDERSON - 8
Incredible work rate and fight all night long. Retained the ball well. Made a couple of crucial blocks, including one to deny Salah late on. Still only 22, Anderson can only get better.

ELANGA - 7.5
Gave Robertson plenty to think about with his movement and ran at him whenever he could. Final delivery wasn’t always the best. Worked hard throughout and was the most dangerous of Forest’s attackers.

GIBBS-WHITE - 6
Linked play well at times, but was often guilty of giving away possession during promising attacks. Like Yates, his discipline lets him down and needs to learn when to shut up.

HUDSON-ODOI - 6
Looked a threat in the first half, especially on the break. A quieter second half as TAA got to grips with him.

WOOD - 7
Wonderfully taken goal with his weaker foot. Toiled throughout and won a number of free-kicks. Didn’t receive enough quality service from Forest’s wide men.

SUBS:
DOMINGUEZ - 7
JOTA SILVA - 6

Taiwo, Morato and Moreno not on long enough to rate.

Only Forest could make victory feel like defeat.

Forest have always had an outstanding set of jerseys, home and away. In fact, I might see if I can get one for cheap!

Extra time tonight is not what we needed with United coming to town Tuesday……

Newcastle?

Look to be collapsing. Everton win in the 95th minute at the City Ground.

Our luck wasn’t in today, even if City were better we still had some glorious chances. The lads kept going till the end though, and the fans were superb throughout. On to Thursday night now…….

Did you shout “Keeeenoooo Keeeenooo”

We actually did! As he went towards the corner tunnel…

Luke Thomas had infuriated the Forest fans on three of his long throws, he’s stepped inside the line on every occasion……lineman must be blind. Leicester are so limited yet dangerous merely because they’ll love fucking up our Euro quest being local rivals. We really should be ahead.

Forest really faltering now. 2 more points dropped at home to relegated Leicester. Just 5 points from the last 18 and they’ve slumped to 7th.

No coincidence that we were more or less injury free until the middle of March. Once the injuries started (Wood, Murillo, Aina, Hudson Odoi, Elanga), our lack of squad depth really showed.

Fuck it though, still a great season regardless. Given what came before. We really don’t want Mickey Mouse Conference League though. Please god City will win the cup and we’ll be in Europa League.
