That’s not a parish pal. The fathers are in St Joseph’s parish but they’ll take souls from anywhere.

St Marys is my parish nowadays…the church and priests are v good there.
Its a proper cathedral inside…they’ve a great setup.
I got married there and it was the best day of my life…
I thought St Marys’s is the Prod cathedral? St John’s is ours.

There’s a church and cathedral there both called St Mary’s. The cathedral is COI but I’ll give him the BOTD. A rookie mistake nonetheless and one which isn’t gonna be forgotten quickly I’d say.

The family mass in Sutton ran for 2 hours on Palm Sunday. Two hours. It’s already the stuff of legend on the peninsula. I went to the pensioners mass at 12 and in fairness to Father Moloney he rattled it off in 45 minutes flat despite one of the readers completely losing her place for the Gospel.

We got away with complete murder on Sunday. Short gospel and no sermon. Mass started at 10. Done and dusted at 10.35
