Great news. A wonderful man (the Pope isn’t bad either).
My father already saying it’s going to be tough to top the visit of Pope John Paul.
Could be a cracking few months in 2018 if the abortion referendum is beaten and the subsequent visit by His Holiness.

Just back from Christmas Eve Mass there. Lovely, lovely sermon. Choir were exceptional.
There was a shortage of Eucharistic Ministers so one of the parents was pressed into emergency action. They performed well and were chuffed afterwards.
Big 2018 ahead with the world meeting of families and the visit of His Holiness. Carnival atmosphere for that if we can overcome the baby killing referendum.

He gave a lovely sermon at the 6.30PM childrens mass in Portlaoise. He has a lovely way about him.
Young lad played Joseph tonight. Very very emotional.
In fairness to my missus she got his rig out 100% bang on.
