The official Roman Catholic thread

Mocking is part of life. You shouldn’t be so sensitive, you snowflake.

They’re relying on the generosity of Irish simpletons :grinning:

Will you visit the cathedral when it’s finished?

I will if I’m in Paris, unfortunately I dislike the French so I won’t be rushing back

The Colosseum is a ruin but loads of people go to see that.

Loads of people go to see ruins all over the world.

I bet you didn’t know that, eh?!

Well yes I would know that as I’ve been to many historical ruins all over the world, including the Colosseum.

You on the other hand have only ventured outside Ireland to visit football stadiums. How pathetic, eh!

As an aside your preoccupation with every post of mine on here is psychotic, but we knew that about you already.

Did he not go to Australia once?

You apparently didn’t know, because you were ridiculing the concept of a ruin in the centre of Paris.

The Colosseum is a ruin in the centre of Rome. You claim to have been there, yet you obviously can’t get your head around the concept of a ruin in a major European city centre, which leads one to doubt whether you’re telling the truth. No surprise there.

Whether Notre Dame is restored or not will not affect the amount of visitors coming to Paris.

Only an idiot would think so.

For your information, I’ve been to Notre Dame three times, in 1991, 1993 and 2016. As well as that I’ve visited major cathedrals and religious sites at Lourdes, Chartres, Nevers and Orleans. I was inside the Colosseum in Rome in 1993.

As regards football, I would safely say I was the only Irish person who travelled to Euro 2012 who watched the first episode of Kenneth Clark’s “Civilisation” the night before I left for Poland. But I do indeed love football. I also like to take in an odd cathedral and place of interest when I go to another country to watch football.

As always with you, a lot of projection there with the “psychotic” jibe. I like responding to your posts because you’re a blathering bullshitter with abhorrent, deluded views , and because I rattle you terribly.

don’t forget about the time three lads walked past your car in Lisburn.

Ooooh, look who’s getting involved now, eh?

Fuck off.

Can one go to hell if they don’t believe it exists?

Does eating the body of Christ make one a cannibal?

Does drinking the blood of Christ make one a vampire?

Nazi

My innocent amusement that Irish people would donate to the rebuilding of a church in France rather than donate to a reputable charity has been quite controversial alright, I apologise if it has lowered the tone of your fine forum

Do some people here think that it wouldn’t be rebuilt without the donations from the public?

Who would pay for it then?

I’d say you get up to worse things than that now.

The Catholic Church is a very popular and powerful organisation
