Does Cardinal Pell get reinstated now?
Lord graciously hear us.
He’ll have a huge backlog of confirmations to get through once COVID-19 subsides.
The confirmation season in the Antipodes would hardly be the same as the Northern Hemipshere? Would guess it is maybe September/October.
Living in Roscommon will do that to you.
He never lost the title of Cardinal, though he no longer holds the position Prefect of the Secretariat for the Economy.
He’s about to cost the Catholic Church a shedload of money with at least 7 civil cases involving him now to take place. On top of that, unredacted portions of the Royal Commission involving him will be released.
I expect more of his actual victims to come forward, so his issues with criminal law are probably far from over.
The church is recovering during the crisis, peoples faith has definitely gotten stronger . Coming up to Easter its important to remind ourselves that christ made the ultimate sacrifice for us . We need to make a small one by staying in . This is our chance to do something positive now . Keep psalm 91 open as a weapon against the virus .
Try not to eat to much chocolate
Is that what Psalm 91 says?
Is the Catholic Church stuck for a few bob?
Nobody???
There’s a genial sounding Irish priest passionately defending Pell in the Ivan Yates show now, what’s the story, I thought he was guilty as sin? Is this a huge injustice?
Ah lads…
Do you want to give Trackie some attention there Har?
The silence is deafening I wonder why?
The clergy have issued an intifada
Well played lads, well played.
This could keep us going. With the lack of live content available and people at home, Mass is the only show in town and this should be reflected in the rights fees.
Myself and @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy will keep abreast of the current ratings juggernaut the Church are experiencing.
Have the Catholic Church yet looked into showing nightly highlights?
All the atheists will be livid.
We got an Easter Mass Bouquet and an half-page letter from the PP this morning apologising for his inability to call personally with Communion.
He enclosed a prayer called An Act of Spiritual Communion, obviously cover for actual attendance, which pleased herself no end.
He’s definitely wormed his way into her good books but I thought it was a nice gesture. I’m wondering would saying this new prayer eliminate the bother of going to Mass altogether.
A happy and holy Easter to all believers here in any event.
The Parish Facebook page will be having the Easter Ceremonies on Facebook Live.
What a time to be alive
