Live content( mass online) is there

Seriously lads, can we have a comment on this, I thought the Catholic church wasn’t stuck for a few quid

The footie fans answered, but the silence from the Churchies is dissapointing

I’d imagine the Vatican are looking closer to home with regard to financial aid

As you know, I am a man of faith but the church do need to step up to the plate financially here. The bill on the state could be anything up to 60 billion. The very least Rome could do is look after their own. It’s the usual though. Afraid to hand out one lollipop in case everyone looks for one

Does their wages come from the diocese? The state should look after their people . Sure why are we paying the wages of employees of multi national companies if they can well afford it . !

I will miss the Easter religious events . The stations of the cross on good Friday and the early mass on Easter Sunday are always lovely .

A dawn mass is lovely

The average PP will be legitimately living hand to mouth but the hierarchy have billions and wont give them.

It’s not like the church to put money ahead of morals

I think the people should drop a couple of quid in the local post office for the parish priest, look after our own , its awful for anyone to be left out in the cold in this .

The Easter Vigil is my favourite. I was at one in Spain 5 years ago and it was some show. Over three hours long and the priest was a serious performer.

It’s cool, we’ve a bidding war between RTÉ and Virgin Media going now for Mass

I would ask that all the heathen please vacate this thread for the weekend.

You’re as unwanted here as a Dub in Wexford, or a bar of soap in a halting site.

The priests will soon be making decent coin again off the funerals

Chris O’Donnell, I thought he was off sorting out a religion curriculum for primary schools,
Sound fella to be fair, it’s an awful shame for the church that there are so few priests of his age or younger,

Comes across as a nice lad. Early 40’s?
