Thatās a very broad statement there. I go to mass. That doesnāt mean I approve of the hypocrisy that exists within the church. @backinatracksuit is right. If our lord came down in the morning, half the fuckers claiming to be followers would be cast aside.

Any fucking eejit (except one) would realise that I wasnāt speaking for the entire congregation, my poor old mother was a martyr for the church and as good a woman as walked.

That was my pointā¦ Because people were born into something or might go to mass, that doesnāt make them a Christian. Thatās just ritual, nothing to do with the message of Jesus. Christianity should really be a subjective experience, in similar fashion to Buddhism, seeking light through refection and a way of livingā¦ The message of Christianity was hijacked by the church for power.

Tis bad tonight kid. Must admit I broke the rules today and the family went into my parents for dinner. Was worth a hell of a lot more than watching the footie and guzzling cans. That been said, Iām after cracking open a Guinness there now.

The reality is Harry, there already is and there will be more. Not defending it but at least when the pubs were open, lads could drink away and come home and sleep it off. With the pubs closed, it all kicks off at home.
