OMFG!
Great. The Irish times panned it and haveeone star but I got the impression they didn’t “get” it. Guardian gave it three stars which made me hopeful. Holding off to go see it in IMAX in a week or so.
OMFG, but also smacks of desperation unless doom is going to be a variant of Tony stark
Ah they’d never do that, too much of a change from the comics. It seems a bit mad but he’d do a great job of it. I was hoping cillian Murphy might get it.
saw it last night, was excellent and funny and ladled on the (fox) fan service. kudos to chris evans!
in fairness deadpool, when shown the item in question, said what in the name of mcguffin is that
Overall I thought this was great. Agree with @cluaindiuic the plot was very mcguffiny, extremely thin. And the fourth wall comedy went a bit too far. And some of the cameos weren’t managed well enough, tiny bit more time for one or two would have been good, one felt unfairly discarded. And why the fuck was shatterstar there but no domino.
And even despite all that it was great and thoroughly enjoyable and actually had some nice heart.
the trailer looked decent
They’ve a long way to go to rehab Val. A lot will depend on that.
watched the first 2 episodes of agatha all along last night. not exactly rivetting but ill persevere for the meantime.
Great arse.
Expectations were low however.
Its grand, but they still seem rudderless
They still have a bunch of fundamental problems. Especially with the tangled mess they’ve made of their multiverse.
I talked about this before. I’m still not sure how they reconcile A and B.
It looks like the next few releases are mostly focusing on the B storyline. Regular Linear earth based stuff. I saw reports that the new Captain America screen tests were poorly received. Hard to know how accurate that is or if they’re already trying to manage expectations.
I’m very excited for that run of FF, Avengers and Spiderman. Pity Blade seems to have fallen through.
Agatha is more than decent tbf. A very well put together show. A surprising win.
