Full back he was playing but spent a lot of time in midfield.barkley played very well too.colman and baines will be used as wing backs as far as I could see.jelavic is back in form too which is good to see.playing up top and not been asked to play the channels
Kone didn’t get much ball in the first half he played so I couldn’t say much about him.
Martinez Will pick a side to get us relegated

Sorry your right… I was just hoping if that I train a bit harder this year and Marouane moves, I can see a bit of game time.
What do you all make of the new away shirt? Quite bright but at least it’s better than that awful pink one a few years ago.
I think Martinez will do a good job. I was a bit unsure of him when he was announced but everton have done well in pre season and it seems that jelavic is getting a bit of confidence back in front of goal.
Ah not much really…I’ve seen worse though.ya jelavic seems to be back to his old self.martinez seem to have Everton playing a nice attacking style with the two full backs playing as wing backs.something moyes would never do.
Mirelass and Coleman are going really well and the kid from barca is some talent.
Preview of Saturdays game at Norwich and the season ahead.
Looks like Barry is on his way to Everton jimmy!
Everton team (to play Norwich): Howard, Baines, Jagielka, Distin, Coleman, Barkley, Osman, Fellaini, Mirallas, Jelavic, Pienaar.
what muck
I’m sure you’ve noticed that no one gives a flying fuck what you have to say…
Fellaini mirallas and Barkley have been the pick of the players in the first half.everton by far the better team.
0-0 ht
Was reading that during the week alright, Faldo. I’ve always though he was a bit over-rated to be honest and couldn’t understand Liverpool desperation to sign him a few seasons back, especially when you consider it was going to be at the expense of a player like Xabi Alonso. City then went and spent crazy money on him the following season. He’s a slightly fitter version of Darron Gibson, but given Gibsons proneness to injury, he may prove a useful enough signing. However, I would have much preferred to see Martinez go all out to bring James McCarthy to the club…I just hope he hasn’t missed his chance to do this now.
Decent first half showing V Norwich. Well on top, but worryingly the Norwich keeper hasn’t been tested often enough. Barkley has been very impressive, Fellaini doing well in a deeper role and Mirallas starting to come into to before half time alright. Jelavic hasn’t shown much to suggest that last seasons poor form is behind him.
Everton had 12 attempts on goal and 70% of the ball the first half but they haven’t really got the ball into jelavic and the keeper hasn’t really been tested!
Norwich gone one up against the run of play

Sounds like Wigan last season.
Cracker from Barkley, great run and set up from Coleman…
1-1
Barkley!! What a moment for the kid.
Seamie!!
Coleman makes it 2-1…tap in from a save from jelavic…
Just like Wigan is right…
2-2 from a mis hit shot but a good finish in fairness
